Orchid Pharma's stock has outperformed not only stocks and commodities like gold, but also the most popular cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. Orchid Pharma's share has grown by 6488% in just 4 months from Rs 18 on November 3, 2020 to a record high of Rs 1,186 as of March 8, 2021. By comparison, the benchmark BSE SENSEX rose 26.63% over the same period. period, while the price of bitcoins rose by 203%. The returned Orchid Pharma shares surpassed the combined gains of Sensex (27 percent) and Bitcoin (203 percent) by 28 times.

On Monday, Orchid Pharma's share price opened at a 52-week high of Rs 1,186, up from the previous closing price of Rs 1,129.55. Stocks were locked in the top of the 5% range today. It's worth noting that the stock has been rallying every day since it went public again on November 3 after Dhanuka Labs acquired Orchid Pharma by NCLT. The market capitalization of a pharmaceutical company based in Chennai rose to Rs 4,840.83 crore. For the quarter ended December 31, 2020, the pharmaceutical company reported a net loss of Rs 45.33 crores, compared to a Rs 34.75 crore loss in December 2019. Net sales decreased 20.18% to Rs 102.63 crore per Rs. Rs 128.58 crore in December 2019. In terms of operating activities, EBITDA was negative at Rs 3.81 crores, compared to Rs 2.02 crores in December 2019.

According to the latest data, Dhanuka Labs owns 99.96% of Orchid Pharma, while financial institutions own 0.04%.
